Membership Grades

We offer several membership grades. All of which gives access to our full range of member benefits.

Student

Student membership is free in the first year and available to anyone studying our courses at the initial level. Whether you’re new to health and safety-related discipline, aspire to progress in your career,
work in other risk-related areas, you can apply for this level of membership after completing one of our courses. 20CPD is a requirement for application.

Practitioner

If you an individual, team member, or team leader in your initial years of practice in health and safety-related roles or your role includes the supervision of subordinate staff and staff from other work fields.
You may apply for this grade. Practitioners perform judgment across a limited range of activities and work under different types of supervision and guidance.

Specialist

Suppose you can demonstrate specialist knowledge in specific health & safety-related disciplines, such as business continuity, crisis management, health & safety, & project risk management.
In that case, you may be eligible to become a Specialist. It gives you an instantly recognizable badge of professionalism, demonstrating that you have the required technical competence, experience, and a commitment to your professional development. 200CPDs is a requirement for application.

Corporate

Organisations seeking to become a corporate member must ensure to demonstrate that they meet the requirements of our learning objectives, have high standards in the workplace,
able to verify quality and competence in their processes and systems, and support our organisation’s goals.

Fees

Our membership runs annually from the 1st of January and runs for 12 months to the 30th of December. If you wish to join at any time during the membership year, a pro-rata discount will apply. Divide the fee below by 12 and multiply by remaining months in our membership year.

Discounts on membership applies for countries with low GDP. View the list of countries that fall under low GDP.
